Who can use YumYum
You must be 18 or older to use YumYum. You sign in with a phone number, and you must give us a number you own. By creating an account you confirm that you meet the age requirement and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Your account
- Keep your phone and sign-in codes to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Choose a username that is not misleading and does not imitate another person or business.
- One person, one account. Do not sell or hand over your account.
Your content
You own the videos, photos, captions and comments you post. To run the app, you give YumYum a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, process, stream and show your content inside the app and to other users, for as long as it is on YumYum. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from short technical delays in removal.
You are responsible for what you post. Only post what you have the right to share. That includes the music, logos and footage of other people that appear in your video.
Community rules
YumYum is for sharing food. Do not post, and do not use YumYum for, any of the following:
- Sexual content, nudity, or anything involving the exploitation of minors.
- Violence, threats, harassment, bullying, or hate directed at a person or group.
- Illegal activity, or dangerous acts and challenges that could cause harm.
- Someone else's private information, or filming people in private settings without their consent.
- Spam, scams, fake engagement, or repeated posting of the same content.
- Impersonation, or false claims about a restaurant, product or place.
- Anything that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights.
Paid and sponsored content. If a restaurant or brand paid you, or gave you free food or other benefits, in return for a reel, say so clearly in the caption.
Reporting, blocking and enforcement
You can report any reel or user from inside the app, and you can block a user so their content no longer appears for you. We review reports and may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. We may act without notice where content is illegal or puts people at risk.
If you think we made a mistake, write to us at the address below and we will look again.
Places, food and safety
Reels, places and locations are posted by users and are not checked by us. Restaurant hours, prices, menus and ingredients can be wrong or out of date. If you have a food allergy or dietary need, confirm details with the restaurant. You visit places at your own risk.
Some reels link to other services, such as food-delivery apps or maps. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
Copyright complaints
If you believe a reel on YumYum copies your work, email us with a link to the reel, a description of your work and your contact details. We will review it and remove content that infringes.
The service
We work to keep YumYum running but it is provided "as is". It may be unavailable, change or lose features, and we do not promise it will be free of errors. To the extent the law allows, YumYum is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content posted by users. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Ending your use
You can stop using YumYum at any time and delete your account in the app (Profile → ⋯ → Delete Account). Your profile and reels stop showing straight away and are permanently removed within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over disputes, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where required, tell you in the app before they apply. Continuing to use YumYum after that means you accept the updated Terms.
